Questions
Free Bible app: your questions answered
Is My Smart Bible a free Bible app?
Yes. The Bible app is free to download on Google Play and the App Store, and the reader is free to use. Reading all seven translations has no paywall.
Which Bible translations are in the app?
Seven: King James Version (KJV), American Standard Version (ASV), Berean Standard Bible (BSB), Updated King James Version (UKJV), Jubilee Bible 2000, Literal Translation of the Holy Bible (LITV) and Revised Webster.
Can I use the Bible app on my phone, tablet and computer?
Yes. Install it on Android or iPhone and iPad, or open the reader at mysmartbible.com. Sign in and your notes, highlights, prayers and reading plans stay together on every device.
How does the AI help with Bible study?
On any verse you can ask for an explanation, a modern-language reading or a prayer. The AI is a study aid: the Bible text itself is never rewritten. You choose what to save.
Do I need an account?
You need to sign in to use AI tools and to save notes, highlights, tags, prayers and plans. Signing in is how your study syncs between devices.
Can I listen to the Bible in the app?
Yes. Tap Listen on a verse to hear it read aloud with a generated voice. It reads the verse in front of you rather than playing a separate audiobook.
How is this different from other Bible apps?
My Smart Bible is built around studying a single verse: explain it, see it in modern language, pray it, then save the result to your own notes and tags. You stay in the text the whole time.
