By accessing and using My Smart Bible (the mobile app and the website at www.mysmartbible.com), referred to as "the Service," you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this Service.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account in the app (Profile), on the website, or by following mysmartbible.com/delete-account.

Bible text and translations are provided for study purposes. Copyright and licensing terms for Bible content vary by translation and are subject to the respective copyright holders' terms.
You retain ownership of content you create, including notes, highlights, and prayer journal entries. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store and display that content so we can sync it to your account. Your notes and prayers are private; they are not published as a public feed.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by My Smart Bible and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Service, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
We strive to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
AI-generated content and insights are provided for educational and study purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Users should exercise discernment and verify information through additional study and consultation with qualified religious leaders.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Smart Bible shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of My Smart Bible or the Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Smart Bible, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Our Service may integrate with third-party services such as Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, Apple App Store billing, Google Play billing, RevenueCat, Supabase, and AI providers. These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.
My Smart Bible may offer optional support through the App Store or Google Play. These include auto-renewing monthly support subscriptions and one-time support purchases. Support helps keep the Service free of ads and paywalls; it does not unlock exclusive Scripture access that is otherwise withheld from non-supporters. A supporter title or profile ring may appear as a thank-you while support is active.
Monthly support renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. On iPhone or iPad, manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. On Android, use Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your My Smart Bible account does not cancel a store subscription.
Prices are shown in your local currency by the store at the time of purchase. Refunds are handled by the applicable store under its refund policies. If a purchase is refunded or a subscription expires, any supporter title or badge tied to that purchase may be removed.
Notes, highlights, and prayer journal entries are private to your account. They are not a public social feed. Do not use the Service to store content that is illegal or that you do not have the right to keep.
These Terms are effective until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms at any time by discontinuing use of the Service and deleting your account. We may terminate these Terms at any time without notice if you fail to comply with any provision of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where My Smart Bible is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
