Common questions
What does the Bible say about unity?
Psalm 133:1 says it is good and pleasant when brothers live together in unity, and Ephesians 4:3 calls believers to keep the unity of the Spirit through peace. Jesus prayed that his followers would be one (John 17:21).
Does unity mean everyone has to agree?
Not on everything. In 1 Corinthians 12:12 Paul compares the church to a body with many parts, so unity means different people working together under Christ. First Corinthians 1:10 still asks believers to avoid divisions and share a common purpose.
