Common questions
What does the Bible say about anxiety?
Philippians 4:6-7 says to bring everything to God in prayer with thanksgiving, and his peace will guard your heart and mind. First Peter 5:7 tells you to cast your cares on him because he cares for you.
Is worrying a sin?
Jesus told his followers not to worry about food, drink or clothing (Matthew 6:25) and pointed to how God feeds the birds. He spoke as an invitation to trust, not as a rebuke for struggling. If anxiety is constant, a doctor or counselor can help as well.
